Chapter 1
In this chapter, the book went through the basics of how computers communicate with one another, going through TCP/IP, IPv4 versus v6 addressing schemes, DNS name resolution and DHCP, touching on each one in turn in order to lay a basic foundation for future lessons. Most of this is not new to me as this chapter is one of those covered in all the other CIS classes in the pre-MS certification courses I have already taken.
Intro
My name is Erik Courter, I currently and unfortunately work in the chemical industry and am trying to train for a job in the IT field so I can break out. I'm taking CIS-255 in order to complete my Network Security AAS degree at MCC. If you wanna know more, drop me a line.
